Develop your creative portfolio

Fashion Design Workshop Online

20 May 2021, 5.00 p.m.

A professional artistic portfolio is a prerequisite for studying a Fashion Design B.A. and an important factor in securing an international career as a fashion designer.

In our online Fashion Design workshop, we show you how to develop your creative fashion portfolio professionally and give valuable tips and tricks. You learn from professionals of Atelier Chardon Savard, which was founded in 1988 in Paris and is one of the top fashion design schools in France. Together we will optimise the contents of your portfolio and give you new ideas for the presentation of your work.

This is a classic drawing workshop in which you produce creative work samples that focus on a piece of clothing. You will be able to use these to enrich an existing design portfolio or to start a new portfolio. If you are interested in taking part, you will need a piece of clothing from your wardrobe (e.g. a shirt or a blouse) that ideally is light, monochrome and with details such as ruffles, flounces or bows. The garment can rest on a hanger, drape on a smooth surface, or hang over the back of a chair, creating beautiful folds. You will also need an A3 drawing pad, fineliners, pens and pencils.

In addition to getting creative input and expert know-how, you get a taster of our Fashion Design B.A. programme and can get to know our Atelier Chardon Savard team in a relaxed atmosphere.
